Jo and Delyth's Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
Delyth and Jo, both volunteers at Bright Hope in North West Leicestershire are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on Saturday 4th May, raising funds for our charity. Delyth has also recently become a trustee too.
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge is without a doubt one of the most rewarding challenges in the UK. Starting and ending in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, Delyth and Jo will tackle 3 of the best known peaks in Yorkshire; Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m).
The aim of the challenge is to walk this 24 mile route, which takes in 1,381m of ascent within 12 hours!
They are training hard in the gym with the team at Fitness Republic in Ashby and putting in the miles around Leicestershire and Derbyshire.
Please sponsor them
Delyth and Jo have set up a Just Giving fundraising page - please support them if you can, donations of any amount would be very much appreciated.
