Corporate Volunteering

Volunteer as a Corporate Group

There is evidence showing there is a strong link between mental health and productivity in the workplace.  At Bright Hope in North West Leicestershire we are looking to forge links between ourselves and companies for the benefit of both parties.

Throughout the year Bright Hope put on a range of fundraising activities and are always looking for volunteers to offer support and raise awareness of our work.

There are lots of ways that your staff can get involved and we'd love to help you develop great fundraising ideas that can be applied in your work environment.

For example you could:

  • Host a Pub Quiz – get into teams, charge a fee to take part and choose the best colleague to be the quizmaster.
  • Have a swear jar– and make sure people put in a pound every time they use a naughty word.
  • running a sweepstake– whether it's for the Six Nations or the Apprentice, assign everyone a team or participant, charge to play and split the pot between the winner and Bright Hope.
  • Have a dress-down day or pyjama day.
  • Signing up for a challenge as a team – from a 5k run to a marathon or hike
  • Nominating Bright Hope as your Charity of the Year.

Whatever you decide to do it should be fun and enjoyable benefiting both parties.

We want to build lasting partnerships with local businesses, creating a community of support within North West Leicestershire. Employee volunteering is good for the community, good for those who volunteer, and good for your company.
