Volunteering

Join our Team…..

Volunteers are an important part of our charity, currently over 80 local people give up their time to help us in many ways.  With the opening of Bright Hope House, we are looking to welcome new volunteers to our charity as we strive to support more and more people.

We have a variety of rewarding volunteer roles across the charity – if you can offer some time either weekly, fortnightly or monthly we would love to hear from you. Every hour you commit has great value to those receiving it.

Each volunteer is assured a warm welcome, full induction and any training relevant to their role.

How you can help……..

  • Help us to run our reception area at Bright Hope House and/or assist with the garden
  • Provide support and encouragement for our day care guests
  • Become a volunteer driver to enable isolated people to attend Bright Hope House or one of our three weekly Support Cafés.
  • Help out at our weekly Support Cafés in Ashby, Coalville and Ibstock, to welcome, listen and talk to guests and help serve refreshments.
  • Support our fundraising events, which provide vital funds to help run our services.

Maybe we could benefit from a particular skill or hobby you have or professional experience gained through your working life (for instance experience in finance, marketing, human resources, health and safety etc)?  We'd love to chat to you about this.

You do not have to commit many hours, but every hour you do commit has great value to those receiving it.

Interested?

Please download a copy of our volunteer application form, email it to us and we'll be in touch!
