Bright Hope Complementary Therapist: Donna
Role: Volunteer Therapist
Practices: Reiki and Indian Head Massage
Donna founded Donna Grimsley Holistic Therapist in 2024 after several years of practicing Reiki and other holistic therapies with friends and family. Holistic wellbeing has been part of Donna’s life for many years — her aunty is a Reiki Master, so she grew up around Reiki and developed a strong connection to its principles and practice.
Working on a mobile basis across South Derbyshire and North West Leicestershire, Donna is passionate about helping people improve their wellbeing and believes holistic therapies should be accessible to as many people as possible. Volunteering with BHH is especially meaningful to her, as it gives her the opportunity to give back and support her local community.
Outside of her work, Donna enjoys cold water swimming and values the positive impact it has on both her physical and mental wellbeing — even if there’s sometimes a little regret on a cold January morning! She also loves spending time with her family exploring the countryside, discovering new walks, and making the most of the places on their doorstep.
