Leave a gift in your will and Donating in Memory
By choosing to leave a gift in your will to Bright Hope, you’ll be making a lasting difference - helping us continue offering free, vital support to people in North West Leicestershire for years to come.
If you remember Bright Hope in your will, please tell us. Knowing about future gifts helps us plan and means we can say thank you.
Donating in Memory of a Loved One
There are different ways you can donate in memory of someone special to you. If you are unsure of which way would be best for you, call our fundraising team on 01530 648553 or email admin@brighthope-nwl.org.uk and we will talk you through the options.
Donation envelopes and collection boxes
When planning the funeral of a loved one, families often request donations to Bright Hope in lieu of flowers.
Donation envelopes and collection boxes are available, making it easy to donate with gift aid at a funeral or memorial service. These can either be arranged directly with our staff at Bright Hope House or alternatively, ask your Funeral Director to contact us.
We will of course write to you to acknowledge the donations and inform you of the amount raised.
Friends of Bright Hope
As a lasting tribute to your loved one, a monthly or annual donation to Bright Hope ensures that our services remain free and available to people in North West Leicestershire who face isolation, loneliness or have a condition that limits the length or quality of their life.
Please visit our
Friends of Bright Hope page for more details or ring 01530 648 553.
Lights of Love
Celebrate the love of someone special to you by attending our Lights of Love event which is held annually on the first Sunday in December at the Ferrers Centre, Staunton Harold.
At the event, you can dedicate and hang a tag, with your personal message, on the Christmas Tree. During the event there will be reflective readings and festive carols. The lights on the Christmas Tree will be turned on and everyone then takes a moment to remember our loved ones who are no longer with us.
A beautiful way of remembering those special people in our lives.
