Welcome to Bright Hope in North West Leicestershire
Our mission and vision
Bright Hope offers a range of therapeutic and social care services in North West Leicestershire.
The charity supports individuals who have a life limiting condition or one that leads to a significant reduction in quality of life, as well as offering support to their partner, carer or family.
Our history
Formally known as Hospice Hope until October 2023, in 2012 it started by offering a weekly drop in support group (called a Support Café) in Ashby de la Zouch.
Our Chair of Trustees, Stewart has put together a short document about the history of our charity - read our story here: History of our charity
Today
The charity has grown from strength to strength and today successfully offers a wide range of support services including, 3 Support Cafés located in Ashby, Ibstock and Coalville; counselling, befriending, complementary therapy, wellness services and a new day care service. The Charity has recently changed its name to coincide with the opening of our new building - Bright Hope House, purpose built to be the charity’s headquarters and home to our support services.
